The Archbishop of Canterbury with other bishops presided at a Eucharist with the Ordination and Consecration of The Reverend Canon Dr Edward Condry to be the Suffragan Bishop of Ramsbury in the Diocese of Salisbury in Westminster Abbey on Friday 21st September 2012.
10 Downing Street announced on 19th June 2012 that The Reverend Canon Dr Edward Condry, Canon Residentiary, Treasurer, and Director of Education in Canterbury Cathedral, was to be the next Bishop of Ramsbury in the Diocese of Salisbury. He succeeds The Right Reverend Stephen Conway, who is now Bishop of Ely.
