A Service to Celebrate the Centenary of Sutton Valence School's Membership of the United Westminster Schools Foundation

8th October 2010 at 12:00 pm

A service of celebration for Sutton Valence School; celebrating its history and community, and looking towards the future, as the school continues to provide a high quality education for pupils aged 3 to 18.

Sutton Valence School was established in Sutton Valence, Kent, by William Lambe in 1576.  He was a Master of the Clothworkers Livery Company, which subsequently took over governance of the School. In 1910 the Clothworkers, with the aid of the Charity Commissioners, formerly agreed the transfer of the School to the United Westminster Schools’ Foundation. The service on Friday 8 October 2010 marks the centenary of Sutton Valence School’s membership of that Foundation.
