A Service of Holy Communion at the Inauguration of the Ninth General Synod of the Church of England

Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, attended a Service of Holy Communion at Westminster Abbey on the Inauguration of the new General Synod of the Church of England on Tuesday 23 November 2010.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dr Rowan Williams, were also be present and Dame Mary Tanner, a President of the World Council of Churches, preached.
