|Event Name||Festival of St Cecilia Service|
|Start Date||23rd Nov 2016 11:00am|
The annual Festival of St Cecilia Service will be held at Westminster Abbey at 11.00am on Wednesday 23rd November.
The festival service rotates between St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Westminster Cathedral. The music is sung by the combined choirs of the three churches, and this year includes a new anthem by Toby Young commissioned specially for the service.
The festival has been held in London each year since 1946, on the Wednesday nearest of St Cecilia's Day, 22nd November. It celebrates the contribution of music and musicians, and the work of Help Musicians UK.
