Free Summer Events

Westminster Abbey hosts a series of events this summer which are free to attend including concerts and children's activities. Booking is required for some events. 

Lunchtime Music

Brass on the grass

Some of the UK's finest brass bands play in the beautiful surroundings of College Garden on Wednesday lunchtimes, 12.30pm-2.00pm from 23rd July – 10th September.
No booking required.

The Cellarium Cafe and Terrace will be serving, in the garden, freshly brewed coffee, loose leaf teas and fabulous home made cakes including scones with clotted cream and jam. Soft drinks will be available.

Family events

Summer holiday family events at the Abbey

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 13.00 14.00 and 15.00 (unless otherwise stated).
24th July - 19th August

Free summer holiday fun for children age 5+ accompanied by an adult. Held in College Garden (Education Centre if wet). 

Edward, the Musical! is a special event for under-7's on Thursday 14th August, exploring the life of the founder of Westminster Abbey, St. Edward the Confessor, through songs and drama.
