St James’s Palace today announced further details about the wedding of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton.

It was announced that the Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, will conduct the service at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011 and the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dr Rowan Williams, will marry Prince William and Miss Middleton. The address will be given by the Bishop of London, the Right Reverend and Right Honourable Richard Chartres.

The statement also confirmed that the wedding service will begin at 11am. Miss Middleton will travel to the wedding service by car along a route that will include The Mall, Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and Parliament Square; and she and Prince William will return to Buckingham Palace by the same route in a carriage procession.

Further details about the wedding day will be made in due course by St James’s Palace.
