Away from the hurly burly of Westminster, at the back of the cloisters of Westminster Abbey is College Garden which is the venue for free children’s activities and lunch-time band concerts this summer.
Children’s workshops featuring drama, painting, puppet making, gardening, dressing up and music will take place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 2.30pm - 4.00pm from 29 July until 28 August.
There is no need to book and all activities are free. Suitable for children age 4+ accompanied by an adult. More
There will be free band concerts on Wednesday lunchtimes from 16 July – 27 August from 12.30pm - 2.00pm. It is the perfect spot for lunch with tables, chairs and benches. The Coffee Club in the cloisters sells sandwiches and other refreshments or, bring your own picnic along. More
