Prince Edmund (later called Crouchback), Earl of Lancaster, younger son of Henry III, to Aveline, daughter of William de Forz, Count of Albemarle and Lord of Holderness. (This was the first recorded marriage in Henry III’s new Gothic Abbey, consecrated in the same year).
