Sir William Stonor

Sir William Stonor, soldier, died in 1494 and was buried in the old (1220) Lady Chapel in Westminster Abbey (this chapel was taken down less than a decade after his burial and replaced by Henry VII's Lady Chapel and there is no grave marked for him). He was a son of Thomas Stonor II and fought with Henry VII. By his first two wives he had no children but his third marriage, to Anne Neville, daughter of John, Marquis of Montagu, produced son John and daughter Anne.
