The annual Westminster Abbey Summer Organ Festival brings together some of Britain's finest organists, as well as leading recitalists from abroad.
The Abbey's magnificent five-manual Harrison and Harrison organ, installed for the Coronation of King George VI in 1937, has been overhauled and added to since its installation. Its versatility allows for performers to explore a fascinating range of music extending from the early seventeenth century to the present day.
Please note that the festival will be taking a break for the summer of 2017 due to the organ undergoing major repairs and restoration, but will return for 2018.
Our ongoing programme of 30-minute organ recitals continues to be held in the Abbey throughout the year, every Sunday afternoon at 5.45 pm, free of charge.
