Music and the Choir

Andrej Kouznetsov is the Organ Scholar of Westminster Abbey for the academic year 2011-12. He studied organ at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Philip Swanton and spent two years as Organist of St James' Church King Street before moving to the United Kingdom to take up the Organ Scholarship at Salisbury Cathedral in September 2010. He held the University of Sydney Organ Scholarship for two years and won prizes in numerous competitions, including first place in the Open Section of the Sydney Organ Competition in 2008.
