Location - Poets' Corner
This event is part of the Association programme of events, focusing on notable people buried in the Abbey. Tickets are made available to the public approximately one week before the event depending on demand.
Claire Davies, Head of Learning and Curator at Handel and Hendrix in London, will talk about the life and times of George Frideric Handel. Buried here in Poets' Corner in 1759, Handel wrote anthems for King George ll's Coronation (1727).
In addition to the talk, tickets holders to this event can take a private tour of the Abbey and attend a wine reception with the speaker.
Tickets are £25 (plus a £1.87 booking fee per ticket).
