Christmas

4th - 8th and 11th - 15th December 2017

Event for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 students

Explore the nativity story and find out how Christmas is celebrated at Westminster Abbey. Older children will consider the issues of war and occupation, hunger, homelessness, poverty, refugees and hope which are raised by the Christmas story. In the workshop, pupils will also make a Christmas star decoration to take home.

British Values

20th - 22nd February 2018

Full day event for KS2 students

Visit both the Abbey and the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace, one of the finest working mews in the world, and discover how they both support Her Majesty the Queen’s role as Head of State. A chance to experience the coronation from start to finish and learn about the links between church and state in Britain –the origins of our British Values.
