Full day event for KS2 students

Visit both the Abbey and the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace, one of the finest working mews in the world, and discover how they both support Her Majesty the Queen’s role as Head of State. A chance to experience the coronation from start to finish and learn about the links between church and state in Britain –the origins of our British Values.

Event for KS2 students

Anglo-Saxon King Edward the Confessor has just died and England is entering a period of turmoil. Join a Saxon lord as he searches his heart to choose who to follow in the ensuing months, and tour the Abbey to learn about Edward’s death and the coronation of William Duke of Normandy.
