Self-Guided Tour: Overseas school groups are welcome to visit the Abbey from September to June (Monday - Friday) inclusive, without needing to have a Blue Badge Guide. However, in the busy summer months of July and August, we do require that all overseas school groups arrange their own Blue Badge guide - indeed, you cannot visit during this peak summer period without a Blue Badge Guide.
Pre-booked Discounted Charges, September to June only, without a Blue Badge Guide:
Aged 11 and below: £2 per child
Aged 12 to 18: £5 per child
Aged 18+: £9
In all cases adults accompanying groups at a ratio of 10:1 pay the child rate. Additional adults are charged the full adult entry fee.
There must always be at least one teacher or helper to every 10 pupils.
The Guidance Booklet will also provide useful information for overseas school groups.
