Early on in the project it was recognised that filming the project was a unique opportunity that should not be missed.
Film maker Peter Lewis was given this incredible task and set about making the video documentaries on this site.
He filmed all the conservation procedures and interviewed the experts involved, then, painstakingly edited each film. The results form a well ordered and extensive archive.
