Although the Choir School is an independent school, the fees are very heavily subsidised by Westminster Abbey. The Dean & Chapter asks parents for a 20% contribution to the running costs of the school. The fee includes all tuition, boarding, music lessons and standard costs of materials. For those parents who would not be able to afford the fee addition bursaries may be available on a means tested basis so no one should be denied a place on financial grounds.
