The choir’s busy schedule makes it essential for all boys to be boarders at the school. However, this is unlike most normal boarding schools. Since all boys in the school are choristers there is such a common thread to the community that boarding becomes just another part of the remarkable experience of choristership at Westminster Abbey. The boys learn to support one another and there can be a genuinely extended family atmosphere.

The days are arranged so that all there is plenty of time for music, singing, practice, games, activities and school work. And at the end of the day, there are friends to play with.
